2019 Lok Sabha Election Results: As BJP takes unassailable lead, BJP chief Amit Shah expresses his gratitude to the nation and says 'Phir ek bar Modi Sarkar'

As the counting of votes is underway in the nation for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections for the 542 seats in the 29 states and 7 Union Territories, and the BJP leading with 295 seats, BJP chief Amit Shah expressed his gratitude to the nation and said that it is time for Modi government again.

As the counting of votes is underway in the nation for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections for the 542 seats in the 29 states and 7 Union Territories, and the BJP leading with 295 seats, BJP chief Amit Shah expressed his gratitude to the nation and said that it is time for Modi government again. 

Taking to Twitter, he said:

In a series of tweet, he said that this landslide victory of the BJP is a victory for India. It is the victory for the hopes of farmers, youth and poor. He then congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for leading a strong government in the past five years.

Slamming the Opposition, he said that this victory by the BJP is a result of the lies and the personal attack spread by the Opposition. He said that the numbers show that the voters have thrown caste, dynasty, and blame-game out of Indian politics. He again showed his gratitude to the entire country. 

He also thanked the entire BJP cadre, their workers at every booth, in every constituency for their relentless support and hard work for making the huge margin possible.

At the time of publishing, Amit Shah is leading in Gandhinagar by a record of 4 lakh votes, while Smriti Irani leading with 104498 votes in Amethi, as per EC. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading in Varanasi with 486091 votes.
