Congress Expels 10 More Leaders Over Anti-Party Activities Ahead of Haryana Polls
The Congress on Monday, September 30, expelled 10 more leaders from the party for 6 years for indulging in anti-party activities
New Delhi: The Congress on Monday, September 30, expelled 10 more leaders from the party for 6 years for indulging in anti-party activities. The development comes just two days after 13 other leaders were expelled for the same period and for the same reason.
Among the candidates, is Chitra Sarwara, who is contesting as an Independent from Ambala Cantonment and has also been expelled. Sarwara, the daughter of former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda confidant Nirmal Singh, entered the fray after she was denied a ticket by the Congress .
The leader read, " Dear Udai bhan ji, This is to inform you that the Disciplinary Committee of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), with the approval of the Hon'ble Congress President, has expelled the following individuals from the party for a period of six years due to anti-party activities."

Congress Expels 13 Leaders For Contesting Polls As Independents
On Friday, the Haryana Congress expelled 13 leaders for six years for contesting assembly elections as 'independent' candidates. The names are- Naresh Dhande (Guhla SC seat), Pardeep Gill (Jind), Sajjan Singh Dhull (Pundri), Sunita Battan (Pundri), Rajiv Mamuram Gondar (Nilokheri-SC), Dayal Singh Sirohi (Nilokheri-SC), Vijay Jain (Panipat Rural), Dilbag Sandil (Uchana Kalan), Ajit Phogat (Dadri), Abhijeet Singh (Bhiwani), Satbir Ratera (Bawani Khera-SC), Nitu Mann (Prithla) and Anita Dhull Badsikri (Kalayat) have been expelled as per a party order issued by Congress state unit chief Udai Bhan.
