UP Lok Sabha Election 2024 Exit Polls Result 2024: The 2024 Republic-Matrize and P-MARQ Exit Poll results for Uttar Pradesh, where elections were held across 80 seats in seven phases, predicted a sweeping victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA with 69-74 seats. This victory is attributed to the effective governance of the Modi-Yogi double-engine government, which has been lauded for its development initiatives and strong leadership. The actual counting of votes for the Lok Sabha polls and Assembly elections is scheduled for June 4, after which the Election Commission of India (ECI) will declare the final results. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had secured a landslide victory, winning 63 seats in Uttar Pradesh. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) followed with nine seats, while the Samajwadi Party (SP) won five seats. Apna Dal managed to secure two seats, and the Congress won a single seat.

Uttar Pradesh, with its 80 Lok Sabha seats, is crucial in shaping India's Parliament.  Out of the 80 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, 63 seats are unreserved while 17 are reserved for SC candidates. Uttar Pradesh's importance is underscored by its history of giving eight Prime Ministers, reinforcing the saying that "the road to Delhi goes through UP."

  • As per Republic-PMarq exit poll predictions, the Modi-Yogi double engine govt is projected to win 69 of the total 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, INDI on the other hand is expected to bag 8. 

 

Dismissing the exit poll predictions, Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said,“These are Narendra Modi's exit polls. The exit poll from the public gives 295 seats to INDIA, and this number will only increase."
