BJP 's Balwant Singh Mankotia wins Chenani

Balwant Singh Mankotia of BJP has won the Chenani seat, having polled 43522 votes.

BJP 's Ranbir Singh Pathania wins Udhampur East

BJP leader Ranbir Singh Pathania has won from the Udhampur East assembly seat defeating independent candidate Pawan Khajuria.

BJP 's Pawan Kumar Gupta defeats INC's Sumeet Magotra in Udhampur West

BJP 's candidate Pawan Kumar Gupta has won from Udhampur West, and defeated INC's Sumeet Magotra. Pawan Kumar Gupta polled 28437 votes compared to Sumeet Magotra's 13602.

BJP 's Kuldeep Raj Dubey Continues Leadng over INC's Mumtaz Ahmed by 3670 votes in Reasi

6:00 AM: Counting of votes for the Assembly Elections in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir begins.

Jammu and Kashmir Election Result 2024: What Exit Polls Had Predicted? 

The Gulistan Exit Poll predicted 28-30 seats for the BJP , 3-6 seats for Congress and 28-30 seats for the National Conference. PDP, on the other hand, was expected to secure 5-7 seats and others may bag 8-16 seats in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, as per the Gulistan Exit Poll. 

Axis My India exit poll, gave the BJP 24-34 seats in J&K, 35-45 to NC- Congress alliance. PDP may get 4-6 and others may bag between 8-23 seats, showed Axis My India. According to Dainik Bhaskar, the BJP may get 24-34 seats, the NC- Congress alliance may get 35-40 seats, the PDP may get 6-12 seats and others may bag between 6-11 seats in Jammu and Kashmir.
