The blockbuster director Rohit Shetty created the Golmaal franchise which has been unanimously accepted and loved by the people. Shetty seems to have hit the jackpot since his initial partnership with Ajay Devgn in his films. The movies Golmaal, Golmaal Again, Golmaal 3 has also gone on to receive a favourable response from the audience.

Rohit Shetty praises Ajay Devgn

In an interview with an online media publication, Rohit Shetty called Ajay Devgn one of the most secure actors he had worked with. He went on to add that Ajay was never one to complain or make demands, he rather would go with what was required of him. Commenting on Ajay's role in his Golmaal series, Rohit said that a lot of the dialogues from the movie would not be appreciated as much as it was today. Rohit attributed it to the industry's changed mindset, and the dialogue of  “Girls want father-figure partner and she (Parineeti Chopra) has the figure and you (Ajay Devgn) is the father” went on to become an iconic one.

Ajay Devgn praises 'Singham' made by Rohit Shetty

One cinematic experience that people were waiting for was Singham Returns because in many ways Ajay Devgn has been known as Singham for the last ten years. Fans have always associated Ajay Devgn with Singham. In conversation with a leading daily, Ajay stated that the character of Singham was based on Singham's moral principles, rather than his physique. In a way, added Ajay, Rohit was responsible was helping people realise that. 

Of the many films Rohit Shetty has helmed, Ajay features in 10 of them. This actor-director duo has made their mark at the box office registers and fans have loved the larger-than-life sequences of these movies. So much so, that they have gone on to become Rohit Shetty's trademark.
