Ajay Devgn: The actor is set to star in multiple biopics in 2020

Ajay Devgn is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. Even more popularly known for his action films today, Ajay is now making his way into the action hero arena. Action hero or not, fans always love watching Ajay on the screen. The actor is now also taking a step into the biopic genre. He has reportedly been signed for two biopics. Read more about it here.

Ajay Devgn to star in two biopics?

The actor who has been on his fans’ minds for action films like the Singham series, Shivaay, Action Jackson and more will now be seen exploring the biopic genre. The actor has officially been signed for Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The film is a biopic based on the life of Tanhaji Malusure who was one of the brave generals in Shivaji Maharaj’s army. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kajol and is set to hit the silver screens on January 10, 2020.

The film is directed by Om Raut where Saif will be seen playing an antagonist. The film also stars Sharad Kelkar, Neha Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Luke Kenny, Jagapathi Babu and more in pivotal roles. Produced by T-series, the film will clash with Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak at the theatres.

Ajay will be starring in is Maidaan, which is reportedly a biopic. The film is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and will also star National Award winner Keerthy Suresh and Rudranil Ghosh. It is a sport biographical drama where Ajay will be seen playing the character of football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim. Maidaan is produced by Boney Kapoor and is expected to hit the screens in the year 2020.

The star has also reportedly shown interest in another biopic based on the life of Phulan Devi, where he will be seen playing the role of her assassin, Sher Singh Rana.
