The internationally acclaimed sand artist, Sudarsan Pattnaik wished Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar through his sand art at Puri beach in Odisha on Monday. Through the sand sculpture, Pattnaik portrayed the Mission Mangal star's work for the society with an 'Actor-Social messenger' written on it. Akshay Kumar has replied to Pattnaik's birthday wishes on Twitter.

Sudarsan Pattnaik is an internationally acclaimed sand artist. He has participated in over 50 international championships and won many awards. Pattnaik is known for making sand sculptures that give out a strong social message. Earlier, the artist won the People's Choice award at the Boston International Sand Art Championship 2019 for his sand sculpture that highlighted plastic ban.

Akshay Kumar's career

In a career span of over 25 years, the Mission Mangal star has appeared in over a hundred films. He has also won several awards including the National Award for Best Actor. On the occasion of his 52nd birthday, Akshay Kumar unveiled the teaser of his upcoming movie and has confirmed that he will be wearing the warrior hat for his next historical drama titled 'Prithviraj'. According to the reports, the film is said to revolve around the first battle of Tarain led by Prithvi Raj Chauhan.

Apart from acting, Akshay Kumar has also worked as a stunt actor which earned him the title of 'Indian Jackie Chan'. Currently, Akshay Kumar got success with his latest film 'Mission Mangal' which crossed Rs 100 crore within five days. The movie celebrates the success of Indian Space Research Organization's (ISRO) Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), which led India to be the first country to launch a satellite in the Mars orbit in one go.
