Sadak 2 is a sequel to the 1991 hit Sadak, which was a romantic drama starring Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt. Alia Bhatt is busy shooting in Mysore along with her father. The Raazi actress will be acting with her father and sister for the first time. Sadak 2 will also see Sanjay Dutt playing a pivotal role. Sadak 2 also plays has important characters played by Aditya Roy Kapur and Gulshan Grover.

Talking about Sadak 2 in an interview with a daily, she said, that this is the one film of which she does not care about the outcome. The joy that she had to be connected with her father, to work with him, was enough. She said that he's like a newborn baby on set and it's just amazing. The actress also confessed that the experience of working on the film connected her with her father more, and that's her biggest takeaway from Sadak 2.
