Amitabh Bachchan has started shooting for his next film after delivering a superhit with Badla. The upcoming movie, which is titled Chehre, is helmed by Rumi Jaffery and is produced by Anand Pandit. The film also stars actors like Emraan Hashmi, Rhea Chakraborty, and Annu Kapoor. The film is expected to release on February 21, 2020.

Amitabh Bachchan released the first look of his character on his official Instagram handle. His character is a lawyer by profession, which is something similar to the previous role that he played in Badla. In the picture, the veteran actor is sporting a long beard tied up into a ponytail. The look is intense and instantly sparked a discussion amongst the netizens.

Emraan Hashmi will be seen playing the leading role in this film. It is the first time that the two actors are sharing screen space. The film is said to revolve around a bunch of retired friends who have a reunion. At the reunion, the characters play a psychological game. Amitabh Bachchan plays one of the lawyers, while Emraan Hashmi plays a business tycoon.

Amitabh Bachchan has another release scheduled for 2020 which is based on the life of a football coach. He plays the role of Vijay Barse, who trains children for street football. The film, titled Jhund, is based on real-life events. The film will be directed by Nagraj Manjule, who is best known for his Marathi movie, Sairat. Jhund will feature actors like Vicky Kadia and Ganesh Deshmukh. The actors have reportedly wrapped the shooting of the film at Nagpur.
