After Student of the Year 2, Ananya will next be featured in the 2019 remake of 1978 film Pati Patni Aur Woh. The movie will also star Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles alongside Ananya. It is directed by Mudassar Aziz and is produced by T-Series and B.R. Studios. The movie is set to release on December 6, 2019.

The original film was a romantic comedy that starred actor Sanjeev Kumar who played Ranjeet Chhadha, a man who engaged in an extramarital affair with his new secretary after telling her that his wife was terminally ill. When the two women find out about his lies, they plot to bring the truth to light and punish Ranjeet. The 2019 remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh is likely going to follow a similar plot and deal with extramarital affairs.
