While both actors have maintained their silence on their alleged relationship, Ananya’s father and actor Chunky Panday recently opened up about her daughter's link up with The Night Manager actor. Chunky spoke about his daughter’s love life and the conditions he has for whoever she chooses to date.

Chunky Panday reveals what kind of a man he wants for Ananya 

In an interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Chunky Panday was asked what kind of man he would like Ananya to date. Without taking names, he said, “Maine bola hai ki joh bhi hoga he has to be better than me bas phir hi usko boyfriend banana, warna usse kum ka chance hi nahi hai (I have told her that whoever she is dating has to be better than me, otherwise there is no chance).”

Chunky Panday addresses daughter’s dating rumours 

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Chunky Panday was asked about his daughter Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur's dating rumours. Without answering the question directly, the Housefull actor mentioned that they are in the “glamour” profession and news of such link ups are “bound to happen”. He said, “Collateral damage hone wala hai. (Collateral damage will happen). You can’t prevent it.”

In the same interview, Chunky was asked which actor he thinks Ananya makes the best on-screen pair with. The actor said, “I think right from Tiger Shroff starting off, even with Karthik Aaryan in Pati Patni Aur Woh. They were superb so she has always complimented the heroes and it’s been a great journey for her. She’s lucky.“
