Football is an important part of the lives of many Bollywood stars. Be it travelling abroad to watch matches like during the World Cup, or playing with each other on Sunday, the sport excites them, maybe as much as films do. Arjun Kapoor is one among this, who is a regular at the matches in Bandra, Mumbai. The other well-known football fact about him is that he is a huge fan of the English Premier League club Chelsea. The actor had a ‘dream come true’ moment after he was appointed the Official Indian Brand Ambassador of Chelsea. The Gunday star termed it as a ‘surreal’ moment after receiving his jersey from club legend and manager Frank Lampard, to share his delight, pride and excitement.

Even the other stars from Bollywood were left awestruck with the announcement. The most prominent among them was his Gunday co-star and close friend Ranveer Singh; the duo addresses each other as ‘Baba’.  Ranveer Singh wrote, “LOVE IT !!!!!! 😍❤️🙌🏽”

Ranveer Singh, too, is a big follower of the Premier League, and was appointed as the first ambassador of the Premier League in India in 2017. He is also a big fan of Arsenal FC and is often spotted at their ground in London, also bonding with its stars like Mesut Ozil. Chelsea and Arsenal are fierce rivals on the field though.
