Arjun Kapoor takes to Instagram to tease fans about Mubarakan 2

Arjun Kapoor transformed himself for his role as Sadashivrao Bhau in Panipat, a historical drama. The movie will be directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The movie also stars famous actors like Sanjay Dutt, Kriti Sanon, and Zeenat Aman. The movie will hit theatres on December 6, 2019. Fans online are going crazy after seeing the posters, and Panipat is expected to be one of the most awaited movies of the year. Recently, Arjun took to his Instagram to tease fans with the idea of making a sequel to his 2017 comedy movie Mubarakan.

Mubarakan was reportedly a very funny story of twin brothers wanting to get marries, and the confusion happening because of the resulting circumstances. In the movie, Anil Kapoor plays the role of the twins' uncle and helps them win the loves of their life.  Other stars like Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Athiya Shetty, and Neha Sharma were also seen in prominent roles. The story was funny, but the movie reportedly tanked at the box office.   

Arjun Kapoor took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture with Anil Kapoor. On the picture, he captioned “Who’s on for Mubarakan 2???”. He tagged Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Athiya Shetty, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde. Both Arjun and Anil were seen in a black T-shirt and blue denim. It was reported that the sequel will be released for viewers in July 2020.

Anil Kapoor will next be seen in the multi-star film Takht. Ileana will be next seen in the Anees Bazmee movie Pagalpanti. Athiya Shetty will be seen in Motichoor Chaknachoor. Neha Sharma will be seen in the war movie Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.  Will all the stars reunite for making the sequel to the film? This is the question most fans are asking.
