Babul Supriyo comes from a musical family who is known for his performances in various stage shows and was also a prominent playback singer in multiple Bollywood films. Supriyo gained mainstream popularity with the film Kaho Na... Pyaar Hai (2000) for his song Dil Ne Dil Ko Pukara. This is a romantic number from the film Sasurbari Zindabad. The song has been voiced by Babul Supriyo and Poornima.

This melancholic, sentimental song is widely regarded as a classic. It was originally sung by the legendary singer Kishore Kumar. Babul Supriyo later reproduced this classic for the film, Kishore Kumar Junior.

This song is from the Bengali film, Antaheen. It was sung by Babul Supriyo and the award-winning Shreya Ghoshal. Shreya has also won the 'Best Female Playback Singer' award for this song in 2009. The song was written by Anindya Chatterjee and Chandril Bhattacharya, and composed by Shantanu Moitra.
