Tamil actors Nayanthara and C. Joseph Vijay starrer Bigil released on October 25. The action, drama and sports genre movie is the fourth Tamil movie to get a Twitter emoji. As Bigil released, there were mixed reactions from audiences. While some said that the movie was great, others were not appreciative.

A section of fans said that Bigil was a blockbuster and a treat for the Josephy Vijay fans saying that it made them emotional towards the end. While some said it was a perfect Diwali watch others were of the opinion that it is just a one time watch. However, some have clearly expressed displeasure. Twitterati were not happy with screenplay and some even said that the storyline is quite weak. However, Vijay’s acting skills have been highly appreciated.

Bigil is directed and written by well-known director Atlee Kumar. The movie revolves around a struggling football coach who is trying to fulfil the dream of his late friend. Apart from Vijay and Nayanthara, Bigil also stars Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek in pivotal roles. Vijay plays a double role as a father and a son. The makers have reportedly spent Rs six crores just to erect a football stadium for a crucial sequence.
