The Hindi film industry makes many movies by taking influence from Hollywood movies and other southern Indian movies. Bollywood has proved that it can recreate such iconic movies. Rowdy Rathore

This Akshay Kumar doppelganger flick has taken influence from Siruthai, a 2011 Tamil film. The movie was directed by Siva in the Tamil version and Prabhudeva in Hindi. In the Hindi movie, we can see Sonakshi Sinha play the lead opposite Akshay Kumar. The movie was hit at the box office and was loved by fans.

Housefull 2

The second movie in the Housefull franchise was an altered version of 2003 Tamil movie Banda Paramasivam. The Tamil version was directed by T.P. Gajendran, while the Hindi version of the movie was directed by Sajid Khan. The Hindi movie starred Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Zareen Khan, Shazahn Padamsee, Mithun Chakraborty, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, and Boman Irani.

Force

This action-packed John Abraham movie was a transformed version of Kaakha Kaakha, a 2003 Tamil movie. The Tamil version was directed by Goutham Vasudev Menon while the Hindi version of the movie was directed by Nishikant Kamat. The Hindi movie starred John Abraham, Genelia D'Souza, Raj Babbar, Mohnish Bahl, and Vidyut Jammwal.

Bodyguard 

This Salman Khan Movie was reconstructed from the 2011 Tamil movie Kaavalan. Both the Tamil and the Hindi movies were directed by Siddique. The Hindi movie starred Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Raj Babbar, and Hazel Keech.

Singham

This cop movie was remade from the 2010 Tamil movie with the same title. The Tamil version was directed by Hari while the Hindi version of the movie was directed by Rohit Shetty. The Hindi movie starred Ajay Devgn, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prakash Raj in prominent roles.
