Chris Evans says that Knives out gave him a change of pace from MCU

Chris Evans is set to play a pivotal role in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out. The film revolves around the murder mystery of a crime novelist on his 85th birthday is set to release on November 29 this year. Here's what Captain America a.k.a. Chris Evans talks about his role in Knives Out

Chris Evans is all set to branch out from Marvel Superhero image in Rian Johnson’s black comedy Knives Out. In the film, Chris Evans plays the role of Ransom Drysdale who is also a murder suspect in this case. Chris Evans spoke about his character in this film to a media portal. In the interview, he was quoted saying that Knives Out is a collaboration of a bunch of really creative people. Furthermore, in the interview, he compared the process of this film to cooking a perfect dish. He said that you do not always have the right ingredients which then leads to the dish not tasting good. But this movie (Knives Out) it just felt right from the start. It all clicked when we all got together.

In a leading media portal’s interview segment, Chris Evans spoke to Avengers co-star Scarlett Johansson about playing Drysdale after the Marvel franchise came to an end. In the interview, Chris stated that he has played the role of Captain America for a long time and hence it was familiar territory. He further stated that he means no offence to their iconic marvel franchise and also said that he still loves all the movies. But to come off of them and have a completely different approach to find a character, collaborating with different artists, was exciting. Chris Evans also stated that he liked the change of pace that Knives Out provided him.

Knives Out will be released on November 29. Star Wars director Rian Johnson has paid his tribute to famous mystery novelist Agatha Christie through this film. Chris Evans stars alongside Daniel Craig, Christian Plummer, Jamie Lee Curtis, and an ensemble cast of seasoned actors in Knives Out. Daniel Craig plays the role of a detective who is investigating the murder in this black comedy.
