The actress’ statement come in the wake of her meeting with Luv Ranjan, who was one of the names accused in the #MeToo movement that took the industry by storm late last year. The 33-year-old was snapped along with Ranbir Kapoor, as they visited the filmmaker a few days ago. Ranbir is set to star with Ajay Devgn in the movie, which according to reports, is a romantic comedy with action sequences.

Previously, even Alia Bhatt had met Ranjan and speculation of it being Ranbir-Ajay-Deepika- Alia starrer also started doing the rounds.

An anonymous actress had accused Luv Ranjan of asking her to strip while auditioning her. He had then apologised to anyone ‘who felt hurt’, saying he was ‘not this man’.

Though Ajay Devgn had then said he won't work with anyone accused of sexual harassment, the duo’s ‘De De Pyaar De’ released earlier this year, where Ranjan was one of the producers and writers.
