While Hollywood has its own Fast and Furious franchise, Bollywood has its own Dhoom franchise. First appearing on the big screen with the 2004 film, Dhoom, the Yash Raj Films-backed franchise has proven to be enormously successful with filmgoers, especially the younger demographic. The eclectic mix of star power, Pritam's foot-tapping chartbusters and the appearance of some of the fastest performance bikes once can only dream of owning have contributed to making the Dhoom franchise a one of its kind franchise in Indian cinema, let alone Bollywood.

With each film, the Dhoom franchise has raised the standards of action scenes in Indian cinema. The antagonists of all of the Dhoom films, John Abraham (Dhoom), Hrithik Roshan (Dhoom 2) and Aamir Khan (Dhoom 3) have proven to be worthy adversaries for series regulars A.C.P Jay Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) and his partner, Ali (Uday Chopra). And each film has seen the introduction of some of the most beautiful and fastest motorbikes on screen. 

Here is every bike in the Dhoom series, in chronological order

1. Suzuki GSX R 600 from Dhoom

2. Suzuki Bandit 1200 S

Uday Chopra's choice of ride. It also appears in Dhoom 2.

3. Suzuki GSX 1300 R Hayabusa 

This iconic bike is popularly known as the Dhoom bike. It was the fastest production bike in the world at the time of the making of the film. The Hayabusa cemented its status in Bollywood pop culture with its appearance in Dhoom.

4. Suzuki GSX-R 1000 from Dhoom 2

The makers of the Dhoom franchise stuck with Suzuki for the second instalment. The GSX-R 1000 was used by Hrithik Roshan in the climactic chase sequence. It feartured a 999cc, inline-4, four-stroke engine.

5. Suzuki GSR 600

The middleweight tourer is used by Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on two separate occasions during the climax of Dhoom 2.

6. BMW K 1300R from Dhoom 3

The BMW K 1300R used by Aamir Khan in the film was capable of doing a lot of things. One of its main features in the film was its ability to turn into a jet-ski.

6. BMW S 1000RR 

Another BMW performance bike that featured in the film. It was driven by Uday Chopra in the film that added to his machismo.
