Did Ranveer Singh just drop a major hint about starring in an 'Andaz Apna Apna' remake?

During a Twitter live chat session on Saturday, December 22, a fan asked the actor if he has any plans to star in out and out comedy film, to which the actor said that he is hoping for something crackling to come along and is looking forward to work on something in that space.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh dropped a major hint about the remake of Aamir Khan and Salman Khan starrer iconic comedy film 'Andaz Apna Apna'. The actor who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Simmba’ recently gave fans this opportunity to interact with the hashtag ‘AskSimmba’. During a Twitter live chat session on Saturday, December 22, a fan asked the actor if he has any plans to star in out and out comedy film, to which the actor said that he is hoping for something crackling to come along and is looking forward to work on something in that space. The actor further hinted on the making of 'Andaz Apna Apna 2' and self-casted himself suggesting he would love to work for the venture. 

In the Twitter post, he said, "Hoping for something crackling to come along! very much looking forward to something in that space! Andaz Apna Apna 2?! ;)"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer is busy promoting her upcoming film 'Simmba'. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is an official adaptation of Jr NTR-starrer Telugu film 'Temper'. It narrates the story of a corrupt cop Simmba who belongs to the same town of DCP Bajirao Singham, the character of Rohit Shetty's previous film franchise 'Singham'. He enjoys being a corrupt cop and takes full advantage of its lifestyle until one day his loved ones are abused. He eventually finds himself transforming and is forced to choose a more righteous path.

Beside Ranveer, the film also stars Bollywood newbie Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood, Siddharth Jadhav and Ashutosh Rana in the lead. The film is produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions and is all set to hit the theatres on December 28, 2018.
