Karan Johar’s next production project Good Newwz has been in the buzz since the time the movie was announced. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Ali Advani. The shooting for the movie began in November 2018. Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani started the shooting before Akshay and Kareena. Karan Johar shared a cute video of the two. Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Ali Advani also shared a boomerang from their first-day shoot for the film.

Good Newwz revolves around the story of two couples. Kareena and Akshay will be reportedly seen playing a couple, who are trying to have a baby. Kiara and Diljit will play a much younger married Punjabi couple. The movie marks the debut of Raj Mehta as a director. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be working together after a decade. Sabbir Khan's Kambakkht Ishq in 2009, was their last venture together, excluding her cameo in Gabbar Is Back. The shooting of the movie has been concluded. The film is all set to release on December 27, 2019.
