Double celebration for Kriti Sanon as she performs puja, distributes sweets to Mumbaikars for Mahashivratri and Luka Chuppi success

It’s a dual celebration for Kriti Sanon! While the nation is basking in the festive fervour on the occasion of Mahashivratri, the actress has another reason to cheer, the impressive opening weekend collections of her recent release ‘Luka Chuppi.’ . Kriti visited a Lord Shiva temple and and offered prayers at the Shivaling. The actress also distributed the prasad to the kids, elderly, bus conductors and police officials.

On Monday, the ‘Heropanti’ star was rightly in a celebratory mood. Kriti visited a Lord Shiva temple in Santacruz, Mumbai and offered prayers at the Shivaling. The actress also distributed the prasad to the kids, elderly, bus conductors and police officials. 

The celebrations for the ‘Housefull 4’ star continued and later in the day, she visited a sweets store. From interacting with the customers, showing her affection to kids, distributing sweets to enjoying Chole Bhatura and dhokla in front of the media persons, the actress’ broad smile said it all.

'Luka Chuppi' has taken an impressive start at the box office, earning over Rs 30 crore in the opening weekend.  The comedy also entered the top-five of the highest opening weekends of the year.

The actress has made it two in a row after 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' in 2017, which was also a success. But 'Luka Chuppi' has almost crossed its lifetime collections and is set to mint much more moolah.
