In the wake of the recent developments, Republic TV exclusively got in touch with Wasim Akhtar, a journalist, who was present on the sets when the incident took place. From what he recollected, it was a very tensed atmosphere. "The backstage dancers were talking amongst themselves and saying what happened today? Why is he doing this?  We may not get today's payment," he revealed.

Further talking about the actresses' car getting mobbed on the street post the shoot, which she claimed were MNS workers, he said, "It was difficult to to identify who were those goons, who attacked Tanushree's car." He also revealed that after the incident took place, Nana Patekar took a press conference where he stated, "I don't know what happened to bitiya (Tanushree). Why is she behaving like this?" Wasim also added that he saw one cameraman misbehaving with Tanushree's staff and that the mob was breaking her car.

The cameraman named Pawan Bhargav, whose video went viral for breaking his camera on top of Tanushree's car and deflating her car's tyre, in a conversation with Republic TV revealed his side of the story. He said, "I can't say who the other people were at that time. If you want to know if they were MNS people, ask Raj Thackeray. I have had no riffs with Tanushree. What I did was necessary because if someone comes and attacks, won't you react in the same manner as I did? The reality was that my camera was broken by people and I was just venting out my anger on the same asking for remuneration."

Meanwhile, Nana is holding a press conference on October 8 post he finishes his 'Housefull 4' schedule.
