Farhan Akhtar, the son of the very famous writer/lyricist Javed Akhtar, has set a strong footprint in the Bollywood industry with his bold and unique roles. The actor was last seen in Kishan Mohan Girhotra’s Lucknow Central and is now all set for his upcoming movie The Sky Is Pink. Farhan will be seen working alongside Priyanka Chopra for The Sky Is Pink. This won’t be the first time the two actors will be seen together. They had been seen sharing screen space in their previous movie Dil Dhadakne Do. The Sky Is Pink is based on the love story of a couple spanning 25 years, told through the lens of their spunky teenage daughter, Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with Pulmonary fibrosis. The movie also casts Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles. The movie will be hitting theatres on October 11, 2019.
