'I Miss You': Manish Malhotra remembers Sridevi with a heartfelt post on her first death anniversary

As the world observed the first death anniversary of the actress on Sunday, designer Manish Malhotra who called Sridevi his muse, wrote a beautiful tribute to his 'dear friend'.

Legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi, who is considered as one of the most talented, beautiful and successful actors of all time, passed away at the age of 52 in Abu Dhabi last year on February 24, while she was attending the wedding celebrations of her nephew Mohit Marwah. The news of her sudden demise came as a shock both to her family and the nation. On her first death anniversary, several celebrities across domains remembered the legendary soul and paid tribute to the iconic actress.

Sridevi, who is known for unfathomable beauty was very close to celebrity designers. She evolved from a timeless beauty to a modern day fashionista. She walked the ramp for several ace couturiers in the country including Sabyasachi, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra among others. Her grace and a charming persona translated in the outfits she wore.

As the world observed the first death anniversary of the actress on Sunday, designer Manish Malhotra who called Sridevi his muse, wrote a beautiful tribute to his 'dear friend', who he worked with since 1991. Sharing a picture with the late actress on Instagram, he wrote, "I Miss You . Our Talks and laughter and all our time together .. Memories that will always be with me."

In the picture, Srivedi looks phenomenal as she dazzles in a Manish Malhotra label. She can be seen smiling at the designer as he stands at a distance. Manish Malhotra and Sridevi were known to share very strong bonds. Following the death of the actress, her daughters Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor are often seen posing for the designer. They are also frequently spotted spending time together, and from the social media posts, it is evident that they share very strong bonds.
