Kapil Sharma meets Army jawans in Tawang, expresses his 'big salute'

Kapil Sharma met Army jawans at the Indo-China border in Tawang and 'saluted' them for working in tough conditions. He recently attended the Tawang festival.

The soldiers of our country sacrifice tremendously to protect the citizens from all dangers. Be it staying away from the family, or being alert in extreme conditions, the jawans showcase immense determination. However, their joys know no bounds when some celebrities come and visit them. Many Bollywood stars are known to visit the soldiers at their camps, sing and dance, and play with them, mostly when a day of national importance is around the corner. The latest instance was when Kapil Sharma visited the jawans at the Indo-China border in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. The actor-comedian brought a smile on the faces of the ‘brave soldiers’, while expressing a ‘big salute’ to them for protecting the country in extreme conditions.

Kapil Sharma shared pictures from his visit to the soldiers, where he is dressed in a yellow winter hoodie and white track pants, along with sunglasses, while posing with the soldiers. The jawans seemed delighted to be sharing the frame with the popular star. Kapil captioned it, “Met our brave #soldiers at #bumlapass , located at the #indochina border, 15200ft above sea level.A big salute to all of them for working in extreme conditions to protect our country🙏 #IndianArmy #Respect #tawang #tawangfestival #arunachalpradesh.” 

On Saturday, he shared another post where he, along with The Kapil Sharma Show co-star Sumona Chakravarti  and other members of the team are posing in front of a helicopter. The Firangi star conveyed his gratitude to the people of Arunachal Pradesh for his visit. He captioned the post, “Thank u so much #Arunachal #arunachalpradesh for so much love n beautiful hospitality 🤗🙏#gratitude #incredibleindia @sumonachakravarti.”

Kapil visited Arunachal Pradesh to participate in the Tawang Festival. Several videos of fans going berserk on seeing him had surfaced on social media. Even then, he had conveyed his thanks to them.   

Professional & personal fronts

On the personal front, Kapil Sharma is all set to be a father for the first time as wife Ginni Chatrath is expecting. The baby shower was held a few days ago. The delightful pictures had gone viral.
