Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan: Here is how the couple fell in love

Kareena Kapoor Khan has carved a niche for herself as one of the popular actresses in Bollywood. The Veere Di Wedding actress has dedicated above 19 years to the film industry. Kareena has given us numerous hit films like Jab We Met, 3 Idiots, and Udta Punjab among others that were loved by audiences and critics alike. Her husband, Saif Ali Khan, on the other hand, has worked in more than 60 films in the 27 years of his Bollywood career.

In an interview with an online portal, Kareena Kapoor poured her heart out about a low phase of her life. The Ki & Ka actress’s life turned around when the Pataudi Prince stepped into her life. Only a few Bollywood couples make fans as excited as Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan do. Despite their absence on social media, the couple does not cease to grab attention from fans all over the world.

It all started on the sets of Tashan

Both the actors had known each other before, as Saif has worked with Karisma Kapoor. The Dil Chahta Hai actor met Kareena at her elder sister’s set only. Saif and Kareena have worked together in several films including war drama LOC Kargil, and award-winning crime drama Omkara, before collaborating in action-comedy film Tashan. It was on the set of Tashan that the duo fell head over heels in love with each other.

Saifeena's love flourished 

Since then, the couple has collaborated on various projects including Kurbaan and Agent Vinod. Within a year of the relationship, the Sacred Games actor inked Bebo’s name in the declaration of his love. The tattoo on his forearm of Kareena's created grabbed headlines back then. According to an interview with a news channel back in 2009, Saif revealed that his decision was spontaneous and inspired by David Beckham. After staying in the relationship for about five years, the couple decided to tie the knot. Saif and Kareena got married in a private ceremony on October 16, 2012.

Their first child

After months of inspiring fans with her maternity fashion, Kareena Kapoor Khan gave birth to their first baby, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi on December 20, 2016. A picture of Saif planting a kiss on his wife’s forehead spread on the internet like a forest fire. Also, Taimur became an internet sensation right after his birth.

Love Aaj Kal 

Nowadays, Saif and his Begum can be spotted taking out time for each other and enjoying quiet dinners. In work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan is working on her upcoming movie Good News alongside Kiara Advani, Akshay Kumar, and Diljit Dosanjh. Helmed by debutant Raj Mehta, the movie is scheduled to release on December 27, 2019. Whereas, Saif Ali Khan is geared up for Nitin Kakkar’s Jawaani Jaaneman. Starring alongside debutante Alaia F., the film is slated to release on November 29, 2019.
