Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt: Are they still BFFs after Ranbir?

Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt have been known as BFFs in Bollywood. Katrina was said to give her fellow actor a lot of fitness advice as the two would train and share a lot of girl time together. However, ever since Alia started seeing the former’s ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, while working together in their upcoming film Brahmastra, the internet has broken out with its usual theatrics of pitting the two women against each other. Some reports have also suggested that Katrina has put her friendship with Alia on the backburner.

Katrina later came out on social media and opened up about her equation with Alia, by claiming that dating the same person on different instances had nothing to do with the bonding they share and as a result, continue to be good friends.

In an interview with a leading publication, Alia dismissed rumours of a rift between them too. Knowing Katrina for a couple of years now, Alia claims that spending time in the gym has developed their friendship to such a level that she can count on Katrina when in trouble and she would do the same for sure.

Their social media exchanges also prove their love for each other.

Just a week ago, Katrina took to Instagram for posting a picture in whichh she was seen posing against the sunlight, to which Alia was quick to comment with a lovestruck emoji, showing some love to her BFF.

On the professional front 

Katrina Kaif will be next seen in the cop film, Sooryavanshi which co-stars Akshay Kumar. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and co-produced by Shetty and Karan Johar. Her last outing saw her alongside Salman Khan in Bharat.

Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, will be seen in Brahmastra which is a fantasy-adventure film set to release in 2020. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. She will also be seen in RRR which also releases next year. The film is directed by S. S. Rajamouli. and also stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan and Ajay Devgn.
