Koffee With Karan 6 Kickstarts Shoot With This Popular Father-Daughter Duo

Karan Johar is back with his popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan' season 6. It's almost that time of the year where viewers get to watch their favourite celebrities getting candid on Karan's show and revealing some of their most personal details. Karan Johar, earlier in September disclosed that the first episode of Koffee With Karan will feature Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. Today Karan Johar revealed his next guests and it's the popular father-daughter duo, Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan. Karan took to his social media to share a picture of the two of them on the sets of Koffee With Karan.

Karan wrote, “Today was day 1 for the shoot of #koffeewithkaran ! Shot with the extremely hilarious and supremely bright and sensitive father-daughter duo! #saifalikhan and @saraalikhan95.”

In the picture, the father-daughter duo can be seen holding cups of coffee and posing for the camera on a set that gives off a ‘60s vibe. Karan Johar is launching Sara in Bollywood with 'Simmba', directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Ranveer Singh. Sara was initially supposed to make her debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s 'Kedarnath' starring Sushant Singh Rajput, but that film was caught in legal trouble and hounded by production delays, pushing its release back to 2019.

Reportedly, Saif and Sara are expected to share each other’s secrets as to what they love about each other, their annoying habits, etc. The actor will also talk about his daughter’s debut, given that the episode will air around the release of 'Simmba'. Speaking about the show, rumours are rife that Janhvi Kapoor too will make her Koffee debut alongside brother Arjun Kapoor. 

Koffee With Karan is scheduled to air on October 21.
