Manish Malhotra, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, Varun Sharma, Nitesh Tiwari, Dinesh Vijan and Mukesh Chhabra got together to celebrate Kriti Sanon's National Award win this Sunday.

Ace designer Manish Malhotra shared some pictures from their get-together on his Instagram handle where the group was seen having fun. The designer dropped a photo with the woman of the hour and wrote, "Gorgeous Kriti Sanon celebrating the national award." He also shared another picture from the celebration with the caption, "Celebrating Kriti Sanon."

Kriti Sanon reveals why she chose to do Mimi

Kriti Sanon explained why she chose to do Mimi after her National Award win for her role in the film. She told IANS, "I think as an actor, I was really looking for an opportunity to dig deep and explore myself as an actor. ‘Mimi’ gave me that platform and that kind of an arc and a screenplay that I could really play with and show my potential as an actor. The emotionally draining scenes, and every little bit, I gave it my all because it brought that creative satisfaction that every actor craves for."
