Kriti Sanon thanks her viewers for all the success she has seen

Kriti Sanon has been on a roll this year as her back-to-back releases are being loved tremendously. Reportedly, her very recent multistarrer horror-comedy, Housefull 4 was a massive commercial success at the box office. In an interview, Kriti said how she was thankful to the audiences for giving her character so much love. She credited the viewers for all the successes that have come by and that she feels very fortunate. She also revealed how she feels more responsible as an actor.

A look back at Kriti Sanon's movies

The Luka Chuppi actor made her debut in the Hindi film industry with Sabir Khan’s Heropanti in 2014. The film was also the debut of Tiger Shroff. After her entry in Bollywood, there has been no looking back for Kriti Sanon. It is considered that she has managed to become one of the most actors with a huge bank balance. Despite receiving mixed reviews from the critics, her debut film emerged as a commercial success. She next appeared in Rohit Shetty’s comedy-romantic-drama, Dilwale that also starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan, which was also a commercial success.

She then was seen in Raabta, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. The film that showcased a love-story of a reincarnated couple, did not do as well. Sanon’s lead characters started receiving the applause from Bareilly Ki Barfi. She played the headstrong woman in rural India who aspires to live a better life. The film also starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao in pivotal roles.

In 2019, Kriti Sanon once again led a film with a social message, alongside Kartik Aryan. It was a romantic comedy about a couple in a live-in relationship, Luka Chuppi. The film was a massive commercial hit and received quite positive reviews.

Kriti Sanon’s upcoming film is a historical periodic drama, Panipat. It is based on one of the most remembered battles in Indian history, the battle of Panipat. Along with Kriti Sanon, the film also stars Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt as lead characters. Arjun will be seen as Sadashiv Bhau, a Maratha warrior and Kriti will essay the role of his wife, Parvati Bai. Whereas, Sanjay Dutt will portray a ruthless Mughal emperor, Ahmad Shah Abdali.
