The makers of the Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Motichoor Chaknachoor recently unveiled its trailer today. The film also stars Athiya Shetty in a pivotal role. The whacky concept of the film has managed to strike a positive chord with the viewers. The story revolves around a comedy of errors when a 36-year-old man embarks on a quest to find a suitable wife. The makers have also released a quirky poster which totally captures the hilarious vibe of the film. The dialogues have reportedly also invited several memes from the netizens on social media.

The latest poster of the film, Motichoor Chaknachoor shows Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty as newlyweds. Both Nawazuddin and Athiya can be seen sporting an amusing expression on their faces. While Nawazuddin Siddiqui looks satisfied in the poster, Athiya can be seen looking excited to go on a foreign trip after her wedding. She can be seen all decked up along with her baggage and a selfie stick. The film also marks the first collaboration of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty. Their unique pairing has further raised the anticipation around the film. The film was reportedly embroiled in a controversy recently.

According to media reports, the Bombay High Court had ordered a stay on the release of the trailer of the film. Earlier, the trailer of the film was scheduled to be released on October 10, 2019. Reportedly, the whole controversy began due to a commercial arbitration petition which was filed by the writer and director of the film, Debamitra Biswal. The petition was reportedly filed due to the non-payment of the dues by the makers of the film, Woodpecker Movies Private Limited. However, the stay on the release of the trailer was soon lifted and it was unveiled recently. By the looks of it, the film promises to be a laugh riot. After playing the role of the menacing Ganesh Gaitonde in the show, Sacred Games, this quirky and hilarious character of Nawazuddin Siddiqui looks like a breath of fresh air for his fans.
