Nawazuddin: The Scared Games actor's upcoming movie, 'Raat Akeli Hai'

Nawazuddin Siddiqui 's upcoming movie Raat Akeli Hai recently wrapped up its shoot and proceeded for post-production. Raat Akeli Hai is a RSVP and Macguffin Pictures’ production and is directed by Honey Trehan. Raat Akeli Hai is reported to be a crime thriller with a romantic ground to it. The film is set in a small town.

About Raat Akeli Hai

Raat Akeli Hai is a romantic suspense crime thriller. The movie stars Radhika Apte, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shweta Tripathi in the lead roles. However, nothing related to the plot or storyline has been revealed. Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently shared a picture post on his official Instagram about the movie completing its shoot. The Sacred Games actor posted a picture of a clapboard for Raat Akeli Hai. He captioned the image, saying it is a wrap. He also thanked the director, Honey Trehan, and the whole cast and crew. Raat Akeli Hai is also the directorial debut of Honey Trehan, a former casting director.

Raat Akeli Hai has paired Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the second time. The actors will be seen back on screen after their work in Sacred Games, the famous Netflix original series. Earlier these two wowed the audiences with their amazing acting in films like Badlapur and Manjhi - The Mountain Man. This is the second time Shweta Tripathi has been paired with Nawazuddin, after their movie Haraamkhor.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in the Netflix originals series, Sacred Games 2.  The movie Thackeray was his last release on the big screen. However, the film did not do that well on box office India. Currently, Siddiqui is busy promoting his upcoming movie, Housefull 4. Housefull 4 is the fourth installment of the Housefull franchise. The film’s trailer was recently released and made it a must-watch amongst the Bollywood buffs. Housefull 4 is set to be released on October 25, 2019.
