Prabhas Uppalapati to romance Pooja Hegde in their upcoming film

Prabhas Raju Uppalapati, most commonly known as Prabhas, will pair up with the Mohenjo Daro-famed Pooja Hegde for his upcoming film after Saaho. The film will be helmed by director Radha Krishna Kumar and is reported to be titled Jaan. According to reports, Pooja Hegde was to play the female lead in the film Saaho, but she did not bag the role and it was finally played by Shraddha Kapoor.

Kajal Aggarwal to also play a brief cameo in the film

Reportedly, Pooja has been finalised for the movie, and she will be seen romancing Prabhas. The film will be produced by UV Creations along with Gopi Krishna Movies. Kajal Aggarwal will also be seen playing a vital cameo in the film. Besides these two actors, Sasha Chettri will also be appearing in a pivotal role. Prabhas will be seen playing the role of a palm reader. For his role, he needs to build a great physique and has to follow a strict, disciplined diet.

Pooja Hegde has become a known face to Bollywood after she played the female lead in the Hrithik Roshan-starrer Mohenjo Daro, which released in 2016. However, she is a big name in Tollywood and has appeared in multiple Tollywood movies. The 28-year-old actress will also be seen in one of the most anticipated movies of the year, Housefull 4, alongside Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and many more, which is set to release on October 26, 2019.

Prabhas, on the other hand, is on a roll. After the record-breaking success of Baahubali and Baahubali 2, Prabhas, the nephew of the veteran Telugu actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju, has become one of the biggest names in the industry. He was last seen in Saaho alongside Shraddha Kapoor. The film bagged mixed reviews from audiences, but they mostly praised Prabhas' acting the film.
