Saif Ali Khan recovered from health scare to find a new way of life

Since the 2007 health scare, Saif Ali Khan has changed his routine and found a new way of living life. Read on to find out about his healthy ways of living.

Saif Ali Khan has impressed the audiences at the big screen with his portrayal of Naga Sadhu in the film, Laal Kaptaan which released on October 18, 2019. According to reports, the 48-year-old actor recently lost a lot of weight for one of his roles. Reports suggest that Saif Ali Khan changed his routine after his health scare back in 2007. The Chhote Nawab suffered from a cardiac arrest and since then he has maintained this strict and healthy routine.

Living life the healthy way 

According to reports, Saif follows a no-carb and no-sugar diet. He eats a heavy breakfast which includes oatmeal, milk and fruits. He divides his food into proportions of what is required. In an interview with a publication, Saif revealed that he loves eating at home and avoids outside food. The actor mentioned that he does not miss a single day of work out. He indulges in high-intensity cardio at least twice a day. According to the interview, Saif also said that he does not miss stretching exercises. Since the health scare, Saif has completely quit smoking. He had started smoking at an early age of sixteen. However, he was diagnosed with a serious heart condition and since then he has quit.

Other projects: 

Post Laal Kaptaan, Saif will play a fatherly role in Jawani Jaaneman, which is going to release on November 29, 2019. Saif Ali Khan will be seen in Dil Bechara sharing the screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi. The film is reportedly based on a book by John Greene, titled The Fault In Our Stars. The star will also be seen in Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior. Saif is more active in his work now more than ever before due to his healthy way of living.
