Shahid Kapoor Aces The Beard Game

Shahid Kapoor might have been tagged as one of the most romantic heroes because of his looks, but this image of his largely changed after the portrayal of his role 'Kaminey' which released in 2009. He sported long hair and a beard for his rugged look in the film. He later started sporting long hair, making it a style statement. His romantic hero stereotype further changed with his film 'R...Rajkumar' where he played a local goon. The movie did have a romantic angle, but it showed a completely different side of Shahid. After that, he featured in films like 'Udta Punjab' and 'Padmaavat' here he had a full-grown beard. He even sported a thick moustache to play the role of a Rajput King in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat'. 

Now, the actor who is gearing up for the release of his film 'Batti Gul Meter Chaalu'  has posted a series of pictures, acing the beard game. In the first few pictures, the actor had his beard wrapped in a white cloth, while he was seen caressing his beard in one. And voila, the last image has him sporting the perfect beard, whilst donning a serious expression.

What's next for Shahid Kapoor:

Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmaavat' as the brave Rajput king, will next be seen playing the role of a care-free man from a rural district, who puts up a fight against power theft as a lawyer. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Divyendu Sharma in pivotal roles. The movie is scheduled to release on September 21 and is helmed by Shree Narayan Singh. On the personal front, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput Kapoor are expecting their second child. Their first child, Misha, was born in 2016.
