After a long battle with cancer, Sonali Bendre and her husband, Goldie Behl, celebrated Dhanteras with much glee. The actor has been missing away from the movie scenes. However,  she has been very active on social media.

Sonali Bendre’s Dhanteras celebration

Sonali Bendre recently took to Instagram to share a sneak peek into how she celebrated her Dhanteras. She was seen conducting a puja with her husband, Goldie Behl. The puja was held at the office of Rose Movies, which is Behl’s production company.

Sonali Bendre was seen sporting a maroon coloured saree with golden borders. She was also wearing gold jewellery and a bindi. On the other hand, Goldie was seen wearing an off-white kurta and pyjama. He also wore a cream coloured Nehru jacket on top of it to complete the look.

Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with high-grade cancer in July 2018. Shen then underwent treatment for the same and has come out victorious. Sonali has been a ray of sunshine for people across the world who have been fighting against cancer.

Sonali has been an active member of the film industry since she debuted with K Ravi Shankar’s Aag. She is widely known for her stint in films like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Chori Chori, Kal Ho Naa Ho, etc. She was last seen in Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara! in a cameo appearance.

Since 2008, Sonali Bendre has been a part of various television shows as well. She was the judge of the kids' reality show, India’s Best Dramebaaz from 2013 to 2016 before being diagnosed with cancer. The actor has been a part of various Telugu, Tamil, Marathi and Kannada films as well.
