The son of veteran actor Dharmendra, Sunny Deol first made his Bollywood movie debut with the 1984 film, Betaab, opposite Amrita Singh. Since then, the actor-politician has delivered films such as Arjun, Ghayal, Damini among others. Sunny Deol is well-known for his brooding intensity on-screen and the hard-hitting dialogue delivery. Besides that, the Yamla Pagala Deewana actor is also known for his inimitable dance moves. However, there are several films that did not work at the BO or liked by the audience.

Here are some of the worst movies of Sunny Deol

1. Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani

Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani is a 2002 fantasy action film directed and produced by Rajkumar Kohli, making it his last film as director. The film features an ensemble cast; including Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Sharad Kapoor, Sonu Nigam (in his acting debut), Arshad Warsi, Aditya Pancholi and Raj Babbar with Manisha Koirala and Armaan Kohli as the main antagonists. It was a remake of the director's 1976 film of the same name. The film flopped at the box-office due to its dated content, laughable performances and special effects. It is considered to be one of the worst Bollywood films, with an IMDb rating of 2.8/10.

2. Jo Bole So Nihaal

Jo Bole So Nihaal is a 2005 action comedy directed by Rahul Rawail. It stars Sunny Deol, Shilpi Sharma and Kamaal Khan in lead roles. The film was met with strong protests from the community, owing to its vulgar content and what they alleged was a defamation of their community. Against a budget of ₹15 crores, the film earned just ₹9 crores, which made it clear that the audiences completely rejected the film.

3. Naksha

Naksha is a 2006 fantasy action film directed by Sachin Bajaj. The film stars Sunny Deol, Sameera Reddy and Vivek Oberoi. It was written by Milap Zaveri and Tushar Hiranandani. The film met with an extreme negative reaction from the critics and audiences and is a largely forgettable film, with an IMDb rating of 3.1/10. Naksha's box-office collection was just ₹7 crores, which was way below its budget of ₹22 crores.

4. Yamla Pagla Deewana 2

Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 is a 2013 family comedy directed by Sangeeth Sivan. It is the second instalment in the Yamla Pagla Deewana franchise.  While the first film was loved by audiences, this film failed to win their hearts and was a box-office disaster, thanks to the poor writing and dismal performances. Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 eventually grossed ₹48 crores against the budget of ₹25 crores.
