With its unique cast and unmissable story-line, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is blowing trumpets of victory across the country with its reception at the box office. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Chiranjeevi in the leading roles, the period-drama is produced by the actor, Ram Charan. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has garnered critical applause and has successfully impressed the audience in theatres. The movie managed to rake in a business of nearly ₹85 crores in just two days since its release, recording a decent number on its second day. The much-awaited historical flick is one of the high-budgeted movies, being made with a budget ₹300 crores. However, the film took off to a slow start in its Hindi version, reportedly raking in ₹2.60 crores on the first day of its release. The makers of the movie left no stone unturned for its success, as the Hindi version of the movie was released in nearly 1200 screens across the country. The plot of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is traced back to the British-India, when the chieftain of 66 villages, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy protests against the atrocities of the British East India company. The makers of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy desire to put forth stories of valour of the forgotten hero, Narasimha Reddy. Recently, Amar Chitra Katha, a renowned comic company, paid tribute to the forgotten braveheart, as they introduced new comics on the stories of Narasimha Reddy. The movie also stars Nayanthara and Tamannaah Bhatia in prominent roles.
