Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar are all geared up for the release of their upcoming movie, The Sky Is Pink. The film hits the theatres tomorrow, on October 11, 2019. The film is being directed by Shonali Bose of Margarita With A Straw fame. The Sky Is Pink also stars Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in pivotal roles. The film also marks the comeback of PeeCee to Bollywood after four years.

The story of The Sky Is Pink

The film traces the story of Aditi Chaudhary (Priyanka Chopra) and Niren Chaudhary (Farhan Akhtar). The Sky Is Pink is narrated through the verse of their daughter Aisha Chaudhary (Zaira Wasim). The story is about how the loss of a child affects a marriage. The Sky Is Pink is based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary. She was a motivational speaker who suffered from a serious condition called pulmonary fibrosis.
