The biographical tale revolves around the life of a teenage girl who has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, who then goes on to become a motivational speaker. Remembering the real Aisha on the day of her release, actor Dia Mirza shared a video of her and said, “As #TheSkyIsPink hits theatres today, my thoughts are with the wisest 17 years I have ever met... I miss you, Aisha. All my love to the team The Sky Is Pink !”
In the video, the seventeen-year-old looks frail in a purple dress as she talks about her battle with the disease. “death is the ultimate truth. What really matters is being happy and happiness is doing what you truly love", she can be heard saying.
The trailer starts with Priyanka and Farhan starting their love story in their early days. The movie is about their incredible love life as they have faced many problems regarding the health of their daughter. The movie emphasis the loss of losing a child due to unfavorable reasons.
