Sonam Kapoor's 'The Zoya Factor' is all set to hit the theaters. Ahead of the same, her friends Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt came forward to talk about what they consider as their lucky charm. Sonam Kapoor on Monday, September 16, shared individual videos of lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt where they can be heard talking about what they consider as their 'lucky charm'.

Ranbir Kapoor considers the number '8' lucky

Ranbir Kapoor who revealed that he has two 'lucky charms', in the video shared an interesting anecdote from his childhood. He said, "When I was younger whenever I used to see a red mail truck, I used to cross my fingers and make a wish, and until I saw three black cars on the road I did not uncross my fingers or speak a word.  Strangely all my wishes came true. I continued doing so for a long time till the time it stops working anymore."

Ranbir Kapoor also said that he considers the number '8' lucky for him. He said that whenever he is nervous about a meeting or a launch, he tries to keep the date at 8th or somehow relates it to the number, and this makes him feel confident. Ranbir Kapoor also said that his love for the word might be because his mother Neetu Kapoor's birthday is on the 8th of July, or maybe because the number resembles the sign of infinity.

Sharing the video on Instagram Sonam Kapoor thanked his 'Sanju' co-star and urged netizens to share their stories with the hashtag-'#WhatsYourLuckyCharm'.

Alia Bhatt also revealed her lucky charm in a consecutive video. She said that she acts to herself and puts the energy out there, which eventually works in her favor. She said, "If I want something really badly I act out the particular situation by myself in my bathroom in front of my mirror."

The Zoya Factor 

Sonam Kapoor's 'The Zoya Factor' revolves around a Rajput girl named Zoya Singh Solanki, an executive in an advertising agency, who meets the Indian Cricket Team as part of a project. Following an interesting turn of events, she ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. 'The Zoya Factor' is helmed by Abhishek Sharma and is all set to release on September 20, this year.

'The Zoya Factor' is Dulquer Salmaan's second Bollywood project

The film marks Dulquer Salmaan's second project in Bollywood after he made his debut with Irrfan Khan-starrer 'Karwaan' in 2018. Besides him and Sonam Kapoor, 'The Zoya Factor' will also star Sanjay Kapoor and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles.
