A star in Bollywood is never just associated with his/her professional life, and talk about personal life is inevitable. And that can be said about Vicky Kaushal too. While the actor delivered the year’s biggest blockbuster ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, his relationship status has also been making headlines.

Vicky Kaushal on his relationship status: 

In a recent interview with a media publication, the actor stated that he is single. He soon then went on to comment about his 'national crush' tag and claimed that he was taken totally by surprise and he thinks that he is not the 'handsomest' man ever "The heartthrob element also takes me by surprise a bit. I think it is a very pleasant feeling. It's got a lot to do with the characters I've played, and that they've resonated. It's not like I'm the most handsome man ever.", he chimed in. 

Vicky lands in controversy: 

A few weeks back, Karan Johar had posted a house party video on Instagram featuring Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Malaika Arora, and other B-town celebs. The post quickly went viral, however for all the wrong reasons. Many netizens alleged that the celebrities were intoxicated, while a few accused them of using drugs. It all started when Delhi MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa hit out a post of social media accusing the fraternity, and then going on to file an FIR against them.

In a recent interaction with an entertainment portal, Vicky Kaushal addressed the allegations and stated that the only thing he does not understand is that people do not know him personally, and they just see something and make 'assumptions', and that is alright as per him, but when they start 'factualizing assumptions' it is wrong and not fair all the time. 

On the professional front: 

While Karan Johar is backing a plethora of projects which include, 'The Kargil Girl', 'Dostana 2', 'Bhoot and Takht'. Vicky Kaushal, on the other hand, will be seen in the Sam Manekshaw biopic, while having 'Udham Singh' and 'Takht' in the pipeline.

Kaushal also starred with Nora Fatehi in a music video titled, 'Pachtaoge', that is said to be a tragic tale of infidelity.
