WATCH | Rajamouli shows Karan Johar’s pout, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati answer tricky questions with ‘Koffee’ shots

It’s probably the first time that stars from the South film industry have made an appearance on ‘Koffee with Karan,’ with Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and SS Rajamouli coming together in the episode to be aired on Sunday. And as Karan Johar described the shoot as his ‘Proudest Koffee’, the episode seems nothing short of it if the promos are anything to go by.

It was not an easy task for the host to bring them on the show, Karan says, “How much I have begged and pleaded for all of you to be on this show.” 

Moreover, the filmmaker has managed a coup as it’s the first time Prabhas has agreed to come on a TV show. And the actor had an interesting answer when asked “Is it true that you’ve never been on a Television show before?” He replied, “Better you watch me in the movies.” 

One of the best moments in the promos is when Prabhas and Rana, the onscreen brothers are asked if they made out on sets or if they had friends with benefits. While they both denied the first question, Rana happily gulped down a ‘Koffee’ shot for the second one. However, we can’t trust his co-star's statements as he too took a shot, agreeing that he lied on the ‘Koffee’ couch. 

Even Rajamouli was on fire on the show, showing how Karan makes his famous pout. He also shared a secret that Prabhas is the bad boy as compared to Rana, but it’s hard to find out while the ‘Dum Maro Dum’ star states that he always gets caught. Another hilarious revelation from the filmmaker was that he has been mistaken for the popular character Katappa from his movie.
