Kriti Sanon who is known for her down to earth and humble nature, kick-started her new year by visiting an orphanage in Mumbai where she was spotted spending some gala time with the children.

2019 has just began and several Bollywood stars have set off to foreign trips to celebrate their seasonal getaway. However, looks like 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' actress Kriti Sanon had planned to celebrate the occasion differently. The actress, who is known for her down to earth and humble nature, kick-started her new year by visiting an orphanage. On Thursday, January 3, the Bollywood diva was spotted spending some gala time with the children at an orphanage in Mumbai. 

She not only brought them gifts but also joined the celebration by singing and dancing with them. Kriti shared a number of pictures and videos from the gathering on Instagram where she can be seen engrossed in conversation will with little toddlers. She can be seen handing over the gifts to them and be a part of their fun filled stories, with a bright smile on her face. She captioned the first post saying, "Kids are the best stress busters!! 🎈So much fun to spend time with these little ones.. made my day!! ♥️♥️Smiled & laughed till my cheeks hurt! 😄 2019 feels good!"

Moreover, the actress was seen grooving to her hit Bollywood numbers- 'Sweety Tera Drama' and 'Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe' along with the kids, who seems to be super happy having the company of the actress. She shared a couple of dance videos on Instagram and captioned the post saying, "And of course we danced and sang!!☺️❤️💃🏻💃🏻🎤"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kriti who was last seen in 2017 film 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' alongside Ayushmann Khurana and Rajkummar Rao. She has a number of films in the pipeline. She will be sharing screen space with Kartik Aaryan in upcoming romantic drama 'Luka Chuppi'. The project will be directed by Laxman Utekar and is scheduled for release in March 2019.

On the other hand, the actress has wrapped up shooting for Farhad Samji's 'Housefull 4'. The cast of the multi-starrer venture also includes Akshay Kumar,  Pooja Hegde, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Rana Daggubati, Chunky Pandey, Boman Irani, and Sushanth. The film is all set to hit the theatres on October 25, 2019. She will also be starred in historical drama 'Panipat' along with Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, which is also scheduled for a 2019 release. Moreover, recently she has started filming for comedy drama 'Arjun Patiala' which is all set to hit the big screen in May 2019.
