American actors Dave Annable and Odette Annable have announced that they are separating after nearly a decade of their marriage. Both the actors announced their split with a joint statement to an international media publication on October 15. They said that they are extremely saddened to come up with this decision to separate at this time. They promised to remain committed to co-parent their 4-year-old daughter, and urged the media to respect their family's privacy at this time.

The duo tied the knot in a private ceremony

Their 4-year-old daughter's name is Charlie. The duo tied the knot in a private ceremony in Ojai situated north of Los Angeles on October 10, 2010. They were blessed with their daughter in September 2015 with the actor taking to Instagram to share the exciting news of becoming a dad. He wrote on Instagram, "Odette and I couldn't be happier to announce the arrival of the love of our lives. Welcome to the world Charlie Mae Annable. She was born on September 7th, Labor Day. Team Annable did not get the memo that 'Labor Day' wasn't to be taken literally," he wrote alongside a photo of his and his daughter's hand. "Charlie is a holiday all on her own. Mom and baby are in great health, and dad hasn't stopped crying since. Shocker. Charlie is one lucky girl to have you as a mother @odetteannable. You are made from heaven. #proudhusband #proudpapa #lifehasawholenewmeaning."
In the previous year, Dave and Odette co-starred in No Sleep ‘Til Christmas and opened up about how they had always wanted to work together.

The split came a month after Dave announced that he was staying away from social media after experiencing depression and anxiety. Dave posted the last photo with Odette in July sharing a throwback from when the actor was pregnant with their daughter. He shared a photo of both of them posing together on a red carpet in September.
