The new year is less than two months away. The new year brings with it new hopes and beginnings. It also reminds us of resolutions, and we all know how hard we have tried to keep up with them. Hence, here is a list of resolutions that are easy to follow and will also help you achieve a healthier version of yourself.

1. Watch your plate

It is very common to keeping munching on something while you are working or catching up on your favourite show. It is time to stop stress-eating too. Listen to music while you are stressed. Besides, one can also maintain a diary of what you eat throughout the day.

2. Get adequate beauty sleep

2020 should be the year for rejuvenation and reinvention, which cannot be done if you are sleepy or grumpy. Make sure that you get at least 8 hours of undisturbed sleep regularly. Switching off all the lights and closing the drapes will help you sleep better.

3. Be grateful

Take a few moments in the beginning or at the end of the day to reflect on all the blessings that you have been given. Being grateful for things also help you to stay in a positive mood. Reminding yourself of all the good helps you to overcome any negativity that has been going on.

4. Walk it off

It has been recommended by various doctors and health centres that one needs to take out 30 minutes every day for exercising. If you cannot find the equipment or time to exercise, go walking. It is one of the most inexpensive and effortless exercise regimes that one can follow.

5. Ditch the elevator

Instead of going to 2020, think that you are in 1990 where there were no elevators. Take the stairs every day. Such small steps will be helpful for your health in the long run.
