Karan Deol cried on the first day of shoot

During the movie's promotion in Lucknow, Karan Deol shared the experience on the first day of shooting. He said that he thought the first shoot would be easy, as a truck was to be driven from one point to another. He would have to stop the truck, remove his pair of shades and say his dialogue. Karan thought what could possibly go wrong in that. However, things did not turn out as he thought. In the first shoot, the actor stopped before the line. He passed the marked area in the second and the truck stopped in the third. Karan felt nervous after he was struggling to get the shot right. He said that everyone was looking at him, and his hands shook with nervousness. He was in tears and he thought he could not even get a simple shot right, and perhaps this was not going to work for him.

Karan said that luckily it was just the first-day jitters and the next day was better. He revealed that his dad, Sunny Deol, would tell him at home about where he went wrong during the shoot and how should he correct his work. The movie was majorly shot in Manali. The name of the film is said to inspire by his grandfather, Dharmendra's song Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas from movie Blackmail (1973).

Weekend collection

The movie faced a three-way clash against The Zoya Factor starring Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Dulquer Salmaan and Prassthanam starring Sanjay Dutt as it released on September 20, 2019. Although the movie has performed better as compared to the two releases, its box office collection is still low. The film has reportedly collected ₹ 4.60 in its first weekend. Negative reviews from the critics and audience could be the reason for its poor performance at the box office.
