Amazon Prime announces 'Kgf' release date, netizens go gaga over it

Yash starrer 'KGF: Chapter 1' is all set to release on the digital space, Amazon Prime Video. The streaming giant made the announcement on Twitter and stated that the film will release on February 5, 2019. 

'KGF: Chapter 1 releases on Amazon Prime Video India in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on February 5' read the tweet.

Ever since the tweet, fans and netizens have been going gaga over it, and can't wait for the film to release on the video streaming giant.

Based on the famous Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka, 'KGF' is the story about the rise of Rocky Bhai, played by Yash from an orphan on the streets to one of the most dreaded gangsters in the country. A two-part film, the first one dealt with him carrying out an assassination mission in the gold mines and whether he succeeds in this mission or not.

Not only that but the lead man Yash has apparently decided to start working on 'KGF: Chapter 2' straight away. He was initially supposed to do another film before working on the much-awaited sequel. However, after seeing the love that 'KGF' has received, he decided on the contrary. If reports are to be believed, fifteen per cent of the flick has already been shot.
