Mammootty starrer Mamangam to now release on December 12, 2019

South Indian megastar Mammootty will be seen essaying the roles of a brave warrior in his upcoming film Mamangam. The movie which was earlier slated to release this month will now release a little later than expected. It has been reported that the reason behind the change in the date of release is because some post-production work of the movie is still pending.

Mammootty has been winning the hearts of the Indian audiences for years. He is all set to present the visual extravaganza as the first Malayalam film to be dubbed in Hindi along with Tamil and Telugu versions. Mamangam will showcase Mammootty as a mysterious character, in a never seen before avatar. The period film will portray a distinct tale and also showcase Kalari, the oldest Indian martial art of the world unlike anything seen on screen before.

The fans have showered the trailer of the movie with a lot of positive comments. While the trailer only managed to ignite curiosity and make the fans eager to see the movie, the postponing of the movie is sad news for Mammootty fans. Apart from Mammootty, Mamangam: History of the Brave also features Prachi Tehlan and Unni Mukundan, amongst others in pivotal roles. The action, war drama movie is directed by M Padmakumar. The movie is produced by Venu Kunnapilly under the Kavya Film Company banner.
